For the past 8 years, I've built websites and run online marketing for e-commerce businesses, including brands in some of the most heavily regulated industries out there. In e-commerce, a website isn't a brochure. It's the storefront, the salesperson, and the cash register. If a button is in the wrong place, you see it in the sales numbers the next day.
That taught me something most web designers never learn: a website's job is to get results, not just look good.
I started Digital Renovation Co. because I kept seeing the same thing: established businesses with decades of great work, loyal customers, and a spotless reputation, and a website that made them look like they'd closed years ago. Meanwhile, newer competitors with flashy sites were getting the calls.
That's backwards. So I bring what I learned in e-commerce to trade and service businesses: fast, clear websites built to make the phone ring, plus the Google, AI, and automation tools that keep it ringing.
